“We are on a growth path.” And: “We now want to place our products internationally.” With this clear and positive news, ensutec managing director Thomas Mayer surprised everyone in an interview that schaden.news editor Christian Simmert with him.

The entrepreneur’s optimism is well founded: only a few weeks ago he launched a new company, ensutec Products GmbH. company headquarters with assembly and production hall in Langenenslingen, Baden-Württemberg. Here, 17 employees now manufacture airmatic devices for paint shops, automobile manufacturers and paint departments in industrial companies. "Our order books are already well filled until well into the new year," says Mayer.

In the current energy crisis, effective solutions are in high demand - and ensutec is benefiting from this. Over 1,000 airmatic atomization optimization systems are already in use and have proven to significantly reduce process costs: "The paint material savings are between ten and 20 percent," Mayer assures. At the same time, the painting quality is optimized: "With the airmatic, we achieve greater process reliability, better flow and paint level, and fewer dust and dirt inclusions."

In addition to atomization optimization, the graduate engineer developed the airmatic revolution: This device supplements the patented process for preparing compressed air with the option of controlling minimum air humidity.

The ensutec boss no longer sees his innovative devices as being limited to the repair industry: "We are able to use our products in all air-atomizing or air-assisted painting and application processes." His airmatic technology is already being used in various industrial sectors: It is used to paint wooden furniture and window frames and is also increasingly being used in the food or pharmaceutical industries to coat medicines or spray baking trays or injection molds with oils and release agents.
